MINI closes in on 100,000 sold

February 04, 2005

From MINIUSA press:

MINI USA reported a rise in January sales with 2,917, compared to the 2,756 sold in 2004. The MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper S Convertible models were introduced in September 2004.

The BMW Group (BMW and MINI brands combined) reported sales of 19,764 vehicles in January 2005, an increase of 22.5% percent over the January 2004 sales of 16,135.

BTW - for those scoring at home, MINIUSA missed the magic 100,000 sales mark by just under 500 with the addition of January's sales. It should be broken sometime in early February.
