Rain Changes Everything!

We started off with high hopes. Our driver road races a MINI in the Grand Am Cup Road Race Series. Furthermore, he was the highly competitive CP Class 2002 National Champion.

Our car, though we only had minimal time for setup and testing, was set up well for the dry...not for RAIN!

What we didn't anticipate was nearly 1" of rain falling during the first day. Our tires and suspension were not set up for the rain. Rain friendly tires and the all wheel drive Subaru WRX's ruled the day.

After day 1 we were sitting in 12th place...and only the third fastest MINI.

However, Day 2 turned out to be dry and things changed dramatically! We posted the 3rd best time for the day and moved all the way up to 7th.
